Why Not? Initiative

When I was first presented with the opportunity of this pageant, I was hesitant. I did not believe that I was capable or had the courage to achieve something as big as becoming Miss Teen Escondido. But I was reminded of a very important New Year’s resolution that I vowed to fulfill. That resolution was to

“Do Things I Would Have Never Done Before,”

and with that reminder, I said to myself,

“Why Not?”

And then from there, I started attending the practices and quickly fell in love with the program, and I decided, win or not, this pageant would be one of the greatest experiences I will have the privilege to be a part of, and I took it all the way
